Monday June 7thAnother beautiful sunrise greets the gang at the Aston Beachboy in Kapaa

And so begins another full day back in Paradise.
Morning Coffee at the Aston Beachboy
Every morning, the gang gathered outside at the Aston Beachboy Resort Hotel over coffee to engage in lively conversation about the previous day's activities and the activities upcoming for the day.
Cheryl, Keith, Helen, Katy, Chuck, Dorothy, Frank, Anne and Carolyn enjoy the early morning Kauai Coffee and Conversation.

Catamaran Ride on the "Spirit of Kauai"
On Monday afternoon, 38 '59 Classmates, family and friends boarded the "Spirit of Kauai" and sailed and snorkeled our way around western Kauai to Na Pali and back.
At a calm anchorage off the western tip of Kauai, the gang dons snorkeling gear and eagerly leaps off the stern into the clear warm waters of Shark Cove (just kidding) for a look below.
The gang spreads out under the watchful eye of our snorkeling instructor (top right) on his surfboard ready to provide immediate assistance if anyone should get into trouble. Anyone see any sharks in the area? Jon gives the "all clear" signal.
Friendly reef fish looking for something to eat rush up to greet us. Dum, dum, dum, dum...what is that huge black shape in the distance? Oh no! Is that blood in the water? Where is Denby? Denby is missing! Screams and pandemonium as everyone heads for the boat and out of the water. Hurry hurry. Oops! Denby is on the deck "catching sun rays". That's just the hull of the boat. OK,, everyone back in the water. False alarm!
Frank knows how to keep dry by sandwiching himself tightly between Jan and Anne.
"Sailing, sailing, over the bounding main..."
Are we there yet?

Only two days into Kauai and already the relaxed Reunion "glow" begins to emerge. Helen, Karen, Pami, Denby and Ilona get a head start on their tans for Thursday back in Honolulu.
Jon, Helen and Karen enjoy the late afternoon sun and fun aboard the "Spirit of Kauai" in the gentler breezes and calmer seas off southern Kauai on the voyage back home.
